This large cross stitch design features the Agnus Dei (lamb of God) motif and a Latin text from the gospel of John. It's a wonderful design which traditionally decorated the church altar during the period of lent. This design, stitched over 2 threads on 32 count linen (or on 16 count aida) would measure approximately 34.5 cm in height and 56.6 cm in width. Stitched with 2 pulled strands of floss, it would require between 126 and 163 metres of 6-stranded floss. This design features full crosses only.
