May~It's Raining Violets is part of Gracewood Stitches' calendar collection. May is such a beautiful month in our part of the world, frequent soft rains bring the first flush of wild flowers and in the woods the forest floor is often filled with violets. Done in the Assisi style of stitching only the background, I hope you'll find violets in the rain as appealing as I do!
