Mona Lisa, painted by Leonardo da Vinci in the early 16th century, is arguably the most famous painting in the world and a masterpiece of the Italian Renaissance. The painting features a woman, widely believed to be Lisa Gherardini, seated against a distant landscape. Da Vinci employs a pyramidal composition, placing the figure centrally with her hands folded, creating a sense of stability and serenity.
