In 1781 Rink Symons completed this wonderful Frisian sampler in the town of Hindelopen in the Netherlands. This richly illustrated full-colour booklet not only clearly shows the charted sampler itself, but also dives into the life of Rink and her family, and what life was like in the 1700s in the town of Hindelopen. It uses mainly full crosses, with the alphabets and some areas having backstitches and satin stitches. It is suitable to be worked on linen.
