The Birth of Venus is a famous painting by Sandro Botticelli, created around 1485-1486. It shows the goddess Venus, the symbol of love and beauty, arriving at the shore on a giant shell after being born from the sea. This painting is one of the most well-known artworks of the Italian Renaissance and can be seen at the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy. Venus stands in the center, nude but modest, with her long golden hair covering parts of her body. She looks calm and beautiful, symbolizing perfect beauty. On the left, the wind gods Zephyrus and Chloris blow soft breezes, helping Venus reach the shore.
